now he's getting gross

Sadie was outside and wanted to come in (she has a run) so I went into the entry room to go get her and spotted Zeus :shock: he was gnawing on something. I looked a bit closer (stupid thing to do) and it was a deceased mouse he must have caught and killed in the basement. But it was missing one major feature - IT'S HEAD!!! :-& now I know cats do this but he's 2 years old now and although he has caught mice that I've been lucky enough to release unharmed, this was the first time he decided to dine on one.

GROSS GROSS GROSS - he was even licking his chops and the hubby disposed of the carcass. So I had a little talk with the headeater - we discussed whether or not I was feeding him enough #-o he wasn't talking.

It was so gross

"God put the taste of little birds in a cat's mouth and there's nothing you can do about it"...and that goes fer mice, too. And moles, and voles, and bugs.... Fraidy always preferred his mice frozen. <grins>
