I have a Big Dog, he is a mut. His Name is Tuxedo. And I Have a Dachshund he just got how would you call it? Plucked (wired haired). Now when we brough Bluchor (dachshund) Home tuxedo wouldnt stop nudging him. its been 2 days now and its continueing. It gets really hard to play with bluchor or hold him or somthing. Tuxedo literally won't leave his side. Help?

Can you clarify, please? Is the dachshund a new dog? Or this problem started after a trip to the groomer?

Witt nudges rather roughly when he wants to play. He does it to initiate play with other dogs. He starts out gentle and gets rougher until the other dog comes back at him, then he spins out of the way. If this is what you are referring to...it's a way to initiate a reaction from the other dog. Since it is a new dog in the house...he may just be checking him out.

If it is indeed a new dog, I would ignore the behavior. Make sure you pay attention to BOTH dogs, both together and one at a time. And make sure the first dog still has any special routines with you that he used to, before the arrival of the new dog. He may just be checking out the new guy as Maisey said. And he may be seeing what kind of attention he can get from you. :)
