Oh Sam, I fuond aanother ACD for you!

    Each week our news featurea pet of the week from the humane society and tis morning it was a ACD. looked purebread.

    it was white with tan markings

    ACDs that are white indicate serious genetic and health problems. Usually they are deaf or blind.

    I'd love to see a photo if you have one though!

    I was looking o the interenet because most of them look mostly tan with white and this was more white than tan. I got on our site and they dont have pics of him,, darn

    A friend of mine just got a "blue heeler" puppy.
    Very cute dog, named Sydney (how appropriate :) )
    At any rate, I read the link that you posted about the dogs and I'll have to inform her of the herding/nipping instinct thing, becuase she's got small smaller children (neices/nephews) in her family!

    BXr, oh yes, please do tell your friend, because any herding dog can try to herd children and they may get nipped in the process because that is the dogs natural instince and also when they are running too the dog sees as something trying to get a way and may tro to herd andnip

    They are also VERY high energy and tend to be fairly stubborn animals. I hope your friend is very knowledgeable about dogs and training, because she will most likely need to be. Trust me - I learned the hard way, and mine is a watered-down version! :)

    he he he...Honeys, thats a red heeler.....theres a glare where the white is, thats why it looks white....but its really red....
