I've been gearing up for hosting xmas tomorrow for my hubby's family. Been busting my butt all day and ended up throwing my back out. I'm sitting here in pain and can't do much other than check the forums I hang out on and chat on IRC but....everybody is away and busy!

The only active topic right now is the orange colored poo thread. **giggle** Sorry, but I have no knowledge to offer there except for the time when I was a teen and got drunk and had a really bad next day heheh

    I miss you all!!!

Oh, I'm so sorry about your back, Cassie; and what an awful time for something like that to happen. I hope you will be able to function tomorrow.

I remember a couple of years ago I fell and injured my knee right before we were going to go to Las Vegas for a vacation. Bad things seem to happen at the most inoppertune moments. Fortunately, it wasn't too bad and I was able to get around.

    Take care of your back.

Thanks. I took some Aleve and am sitting on a heating pad. I got most of what I needed to get done today but not all. I still need to shower, vacuume and a little cooking left to do and laundry. My hubby should be home early tomorrow morn but will be extremely tired. He's a trucker and has been on the road for three days with very little sleep so he won't be much help.

I know exactly what he will do when he get's home. He'll get a bowl of food, nuke and eat it, then lie on the floor and play with Booger LOL Then he'll crash.

    Poor Cassie! *hugs*

I hope you are feeling better today! Remember: your home don't HAVE to shine just because it's christmas. I gave up on that this year, and tried to consentrate on just having a good time with buying gifts and decorating :) Offcourse I vacuume cleaned, dusted and things like that, but unlike other people I know (my grandmother) I don't work my ass off with the cleaning. I remember one year when I was living at home, she would come help my dad with "the big christmas washing day", and she would literally lay on the couch panting when she was done... lol  (A little off topic, sorry  )

I hope you have a happy holiday Cassie! Give Booger a hug from me and Kyrre!

I hope it'll be cloudy for you today because dirt doesn't show up well on cloudy days. I agree with Bente. The main thing is to have a good time with friends and family with minimal work involved. Besides, you are done decorating your tree. It's super gorgeous!
