I'll miss your posts maria, promise to come back as soon as you can :)
I hope Ollie will have a nice home while he can't be with you, it must be very hard leaving your baby. But at least you know you'll get him back. Do you have the opportunity to visit him?

I'm sorry to hear that you'll be seperated from Ollie for such a long time. I don't understand what the problem is. Just because she's pregnant you can't have Ollie? As far as I know, the only possible harm that could come to her 'may' occur if she handles his litter box (which I'm sure she wouldn't).

I can understand you not wanting to argue especially since your mom will care for him and you can see him often in the mean time. But she's wrong. So long as she doesn't come in personal contact with cat fecies, she'll be fine. But I'm happy that you found a good comprimise.

You and Ollie will be missed here and I'm sure I can speak for many by saying that you and silly Ollie will be missed here. We'll all look forward to your return!

    Hugs

Yep, sounds like that woman does not like cats. When I carried my son, hubby did all the litter scooping. I was more concerned about my toddler eating tapeworm segments when my cats were infected.
