oscar pimple thing ...

    today i found a pimple on the bottom jaw of my red oscar.. any ideas on what it could be? is it serious and will it clear up or do i need to treat it?? is it contagoeus and will it spread to my other tank inhabitents?? any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreicated

    Sounds like a callous. It's pretty common for oscars (and other cichlids) to get them from digging. It won't hurt anything.
