I shouldn't find this nearly as funny as I do but well....I do. Given the context of the website I read it on - a Weight Watchers support site - something about it just cracks me up. Apparently I'm not the only binge eater out there.

Python Bursts After Trying to Eat Gator

MIAMI -- The alligator has some foreign competition at the top of the Everglades food chain, and the results of the struggle are horror-movie messy.

A 13-foot Burmese python recently burst after it apparently tried to swallow a live, six-foot alligator whole, authorities said
    ....
The snake was found with the gator's hindquarters protruding from its midsection. Mazzotti said the alligator may have clawed at the python's stomach as the snake tried to digest it.

People are so stupid. Imagine this living room conversation:

"Hey honey, I'm bored. Let's get a pet python!"

    "Okay!"

    "Awwwww. Isn't he cute?"

"Man. This python is getting really big."

"Gee. He tried to eat little Johnny. We have to get rid of him."

"What should we do with him?"

    "....."

"I know! Let's dump him in the Everglades!"

    "Okay!"

    Sheesh.

I gave mine to the alligator farm in California near Knotts Berry Farm. The guy says "Kid this isn't a Python"
me (@ 10years old) "Well the kid I got it from says his dad travels alot and got it from south america"
The guy replies "This is a Boa, a water Boa, commonly called Anaconda"
me "well you can still have it cause it keeps chasing after the dog"

LOL we had it for a year before it got to be about 10 to 12 feet long. Had traded my mini bike for it.
