I have a question maybe some of you guys can help me with.. Some of you already know that i am currently deployed to the desert and my question is.. How long does it normaly take for an "outside" dog to adjust to inside living?? My wife is very concerned with this. He has been living outside for about 4 months now.. he was indoors for 2 months prior.. I come home soon, so i just wanted to know if anyone had experience with this.. thank you

They generally adapt really well and since he was inside first it's likely he'll do fine...MAY have an accident or two if he's young but I doubt you'll have any big issues....

I've done it before with my own who went from kennel dogs to indoor dogs and now back outside and when we do indoor life in the cold they adapt well...

My experience has been good doing this. I always crate train though.
If the dog is smart and over 6 months old you may find it easier than a new puppy.
