parakeet talking?

    1.can a parakeet talk if they do can someone tell me how to make them talk?

    2. anyone know why do my parakeet walks in the dark in the cage?when i go to sleep.

    HI it has been known for parakeets to say hello but getting them to talk can take many years this is one by repeating the same word over and over and they pick it up.

    Birds are usually quiet during the night as they can not see very well if at all in the dark it could be it is just trying to get comftable..
