Pet Wipes? Good or bad?

I saw some pet wipes at the store a while ago and then today i saw a big box of them at the club. They are suppose to wipe away dirt and grease. Its a quick clean up when your out or what ever. Are they safe? Will they irritate the skin and dry it out? I'd like to know. I have a dog that is constantly dirty. I'd hate to give her a bath every day. She must be naturally dirty lol. I catch her rolling in the dirt when I'm not looking. Has anyone used them before? How do you feel about them?

Pet wipes are safe, but they can be expensive. It would be cheaper to buy waterless shampoo and use an old towel.

I haven't ever had a dog develop irritation or anything from waterless shampoo, but all animals are individuals, and it could be possible. Animals, and people too for that matter, can be allergic to just about anything, so always watch for signs of allergy when using any sort of shampoo product, waterless or othewise.

I've used them before but i dont think they work well on a dirty dog with mud and lots of dirt. I like the ear wipes though, makes cleaning ears a little easier. I use to take my Lab to the park everyday where she got super dirty, I found the best thing to do to keep her clean was to hose her off, dont use shampoo just rinse her off, it will take off the dirt on the skin so when you pet her she is clean, those pet wipes wont do that, or at least with my experiance with them they wont. Maybe they work best on small dogs. Goodluck!

I find with my dogs that hosing them off with water usually is plenty, unless they smell! With Nala, I can just let the mud dry on her and then brush it out, assuming I can leave her outside until it's dry.
