Well, we finished our new horse paddock/dog exercise pen. It's about half an acre and i think it turned out well. The dogs and the horses enjoy it!

Annie says "Yay! I can chase my football really far!"

Bear says "So how do I get out of here?"

    Thanks!!!
You have no idea how nice it is to hear someone call this property neat and clean. It was a DUMP when we bought it a year ago. We've hauled ,literally, tons of trash off the place. I have to admit, looking at it now...it's hard to believe it's MINE!!!

She plays hard and it keeps her from pulling her front shoes off galloping and sliding around.

    Good Idea...
Sassy was forever kicking the backs of her feet. I'd have to let her wear them during turn out until she got the "running and kicking" outta her system....

My arab over-reached incessantly and so he got bells AND splints on the front Whether or not we were riding or at turn-out. If he spooked, inevitably he'd gash the backs of his front legs with at least ONE of his back. He'd have been great for endurance but he didn't over-reach off to the side but right up behind each foot so a long walk or trott was out of the question.

What kind of horse ya got there?

She's a Thoroughbred..I actually don't ride her in the bell boots, cause she's fine. But in turnout she's a wild thing and always over reaches and has a knack for pulling shoes off, even back ones..though i'm not sure how..hehe.
