"Pimple" on Duke's Nose?

Yesterday I noticed a red bump just below Duke's nose about the size of the end of a pencil eraser. When I grabbed his muzzle for a better look he whined a bit like it hurt.
Today it does not look quite as red.
Anybody ever have a similar pimple appear on your dog?

 

Ozzy our great dane gets them on his chin. They don't hurt but they do break open (yuck I know) but I've never had a problem.

I have a hairless rat that a couple of months ago had a huge one on his noes. We actually had to ...well... take care of it. Poor dude. Great rat though he just let us wrap him up in a towel and fix him up. ick

My dogs get lots of lumps and bumps...don't think they've had one on their nose though. I felt sure there would be a pic :wink: .

I'll try to remember to get a pic this weekend. Nothing better than to start your week off on a Monday than looking at a picture of a dog's nose pimple.
