Please help me I need answers asap for the life of my fish

My goldfish has a large sore on his head. its a circle shape. His head appears to be swelling.There is a little bit of skin just hanging there. Is there anything i can do to help my fish of will it just die.

If you want testings ask me.But i dont know if I can get a picture.

Iv moved him to a hospital tank and treating him with melafix, or something like that.

Hes acting fine but I know he cant be.

Test results will have to come later, im in the process of cleaning and every thing is going missin so yeah!

Oh the "skin" was actualy a little white worm . Its gonme now. I think.

 

yeah probably some type of external parasite. treat it. good. when you think it's gone then keep on treating it to make sure.

 

He died a while a go .I havent been on here since . I wish I had. He died in perfect water (dont ask test results) I'm still mourning.. He would chase my finger
