A looooong time ago there was a thread about those little pouches you can attach to a dog's collar to put the tags in so they don't clink together. I think it was Maisey who posted a link to a site that had a really nice leather one. Anyone have any idea where I can find these?

I don't know...but you reminded me of something really cute I bought the other day. It is a dog tag, but it looks exactly like a drivers license. They have them for most states so for me it says State of South Carolina, etc. ,etc. just like my drivers license looks. You can put their address, height, weight, all that stuff. And a picture. You have to mail it in...I haven't done it yet b/c I haven't come up with a name for the puppy. I just thought it was really neat.

    Hi All,
My computer has been down and I have just gotten it back, such a relief!

The tag protectors I use are by Durango. Their website is www.durangopet.com but I can never find the tags pockets on their site. I actually order them through a supply company at work. Below is a link to one site that has them.

Dooley has the leather one and Witt has the nylon one...I prefer the nylon but Shawn likes the leather. Annie has some other brand, I don't care for it because it has snaps rather than velcro closures. A while back I was looking for tag pockets on-line and while searching found a bunch of cool things all to do with tags.

Thanks, Maisey! I don't usually have collars on the dogs, but when they go out they wear only their name tag to cut down on the jingling. I was thinking I should put Nala's AVID chip tag on her so people would know to scan her. I guess she doesn't have a valid rabies tag anymore and neither does Bonnie. But Nala does have a city license tag. I really need to get Bonnie chipped.
