Has anyone had any problems with the power dieing for 12+ hours? I just relised that around here its not unsual to lose power for a day/day and a half during the winter and since I got into the fish business during the spring havent had any expencie with it. Anyone know what to do to add oxygen to the water and get some water movement when it all goes?

You can buy battery powered air pumps. And to help keep the tank warm in the winter, you can wrap blankets around it.

Woah I'll have to look into that chelle, thanks! I went on to read some articlals on it and one guy said to as you said wrap it in cloth/foam/blankets and to once every half and hour to take a meausuring cup and tank out then pour back in the same water to get the gas exchange going. Also to sumerge the bio-wheels if avaible.

I agree with fish addict. If you have extra dough then get a generator or two depending on how many tanks you have to run. Did you mean when you said that you are in the business that you own a lfs or just in the hobby?
