So the weekend before Rita, My Brother trapped six wild hogs that have been destroying his property and tearing up under his feeder... SO he shot 4 of them and two broke out of the trap and escaped.
We took then home to butcher, and I had them in the back of my truck. I went to put the tailgate down, and as usual Precious wanted to jump in... well... she got about halfway in the air, and saw the beasts, and started back peddling in the air!!! It was the funniest thing I think I've ever seen.

She started freeking out!! Buki joined in as well.
They finally calmed down and "thought" it was ok... till Granvel grabbed one by the leg and dragged it to the tree to hang. I guess the girls Thought it was chasing him or something. They wen't nuts!!! Precious was trying to grab it and run with it, and Buki was trying to jump on Granvel and get between it and him!!! It was sooo funny.

I quickly told them no and off, and they quit.... but once the thing was in the tree hanging and swinging freely, Buki was estatic. She barked and tried to run up and bite it... It was funny. "Precious kinda sat there like... yeah, I know its dead, you can't fool me!!"

But Buki steadily kept an eye on each and every one, and gave a periodic "humph" at each one to keep them in line!!! LOL....

I'm curious as to see what and how they would act on an actual hunt or with a live one, But Hogs are extremely dangerous and would easily gut or severely maim a dog. Hog dogs are trained heavily, and have to wear protective collars and vests.
I personally am curious. But would never do it out of fear that one of my girls would be hurt.
