Okay, out of my 3 babies..i have one little one who will not use the litter box if it is a tad dirty..he has been peeing on the carpets..and the bathroom rug..finally had to throw it out bc it got too dirty...short of getting 4 litterboxes or changing them every other day..what else can i do??

    Thanks guys

get a giant litterbox. for my cats i have a HUGE plastic storage container [$20 AUD] that i cut an opening in. i also fill it up quite a bit so when one does use it the 'mess' is so deep they dont step in it and there is less smell etc.

oh also get clumping litter [of the wheat/starch variety]. that way you dont have to throw all the litter out adn it wont become soggy.

Well how many boxes do you have now?

I just had that problem with one of my kitties and I got an extra box (now I have 2) and not only can I wait longer in between cleanings (since there's 2 now, they don't get as messy as quickly) but she's not peeing in my laundry hamper anymore.

Do you know how hard it is to get kitty urine stink out of clothes? And even if you don't smell it after washing, if it gets hot or if you sweat...it comes right back out! Stinky.

fill the bath up with with a bit of water. i guarantee you he wont be peeing in there anymore. pepe use to go in the bath lots until i did the above. i also kept putting him in the litterbox every so often so hed get the idea.

did you have a urinalysis done to be sure it's not a UTI...maybe it's not the box but the litter. What kind are you using?
