hello everyone, I just have a quick question. I have an Australian Shephers expecting puppies in 6 days (on April 29th) and her vagina is swollen with no discharge, I know this is expected 24 hours before whelping takes place but it seems too soon. If she is nowhere near whelping yet, is this something I should worry about or is this normal? Thanks in advance for any replies!

Females will swell up at diffrent times. Mine all swelled about two weeks ahead of time.
If you start knoticing any discomfort or the swelling looks abnormal or there's any pertrusion I'd be concerned.

Have you taken her in for a pre whelp check up?
