Questions needed be answered. HELP!!!

Please help me.
1. How many gallons can a 2.5 ft tank hold?
2. I just added 2 guppies in a 1G tank for them to breed.. How long do i have to wait?
3. Is powder food good for baby fry or should i use live food? (please recommend)
