So a gal at Andy's shop wanted to find a home for this pit bull female, she was at the end of her rope, female is in heat and her other two dogs are intact and they're going nuts yadda yadda.... What??? Anyway she brings teh dog over and a cute little chocolate female with red nose, fat little thing too... and nervous. I ask about details and apparently the owner had to switch jobs with the railroad and couldn't take her. He left her at the farm "with enough food and water" and a week or so later this girl finally got a chance to go get her...

Needless to say I don't need another dog but took her anyway...ack... She's a sweetheart but poor thing is stressed out and really nervous about everything, no socialization or whatever great with people and dogs but terrified of everything new... She's about a year old I guess... After we assess her and whatnot I'll either keep her (yikes) or we'll find her a home (I'm hoping to see if you'll give me a hand True) but we'll see. She's pretty small but fat so is probably a good 10lbs overweight. Fat too not prego...all around sausage fat. Poor gal.

anyway I'm off to show her around the house I think.

Holy smokes this dog has gone leaps and bounds since I got her. She's turning out to be quite a good girl, although determined she's still great. She's got some house training issues to get through, she cries constantly when outside alone and I still haven't gotten her to go potty out there...I don't hardly blame her being abandoned...she's sure she'll get left I'm sure... Anyway it's going great.

I managed to utilize some of those Ceasar Milan techniques with dogs at dog parks on my own mutts and my two dominant female pits have been running the yard with me often. no incidents to report and we're pretty much relaxed...it's great. Sams...you should try to check him out it might be the ticket when managing lots of dogs. My goal is to have at least two packs safely if I can't get one going...although I think I can with Andy's help...can you imagine all 7 dogs hanging out together? What a dream...LOL...

Eh, i'm not really into him. I'm pretty good with my crew. LOL

OH by the way, Precious is back in season. I had her checked out and everything seems to be fine. SOoooooo we're going to attempt a mating again and I'll be AI'n her at least once to insure coverage. LOL
