RIP dear sweet Catnip

I had to let Catnip go to Rainbow Bridge this afternoon.
I came home from work and found her near death. Rather than let her suffer any longer I got her to the vet.
The thyroid problem was masking end stage renal failure. She was so dehydrated it was hard for him to get the needle into her - that was bad.
She was only 13 years old. Sadly only got to know love and care the last year of her life.
She was placed in a vet's office at 7 years of age to be PTS for not liking her family's new dog. Vet contacted Siamese REscue and she was fostered in Virginia for nearly a year and then adopted by a guy in NH who kept her 3 years with no medical care whatsoever!!!! He ended up giving her back and that's how I got her. I fostered her nearly a year and she got adopted. They kept her 6 months and sent her back.
In the times I fostered her she was happy and content, so the 2nd stay we adopted her.
She loved her PawPaw and there is a definite hole here tonight.

 

Oh Mary!! That is soo sad I am soo sorry to hear this!!! :cry: I'm glad you got home when you did to taker her in.... She had a good loving home with you and that is what counts!! She got to feel love where she got none most of her sweet life!!
