Well I know I havent brought up the hounds the Terrier im working with in a while but i do remember mentioning Rose was pretty well along in her pregnancy and so i wa working with her more. She and i have made good friends she has since our last post alowed me to pet her and comes when she's called. Well this morning I went in the bedroom to feed her and let her out when I saw two tiny wet bundles on the ground. It took me a second to realize they were puppies one with still in the sack and the other was just laying there both deadI then looked over at Rose and I saw anouther live puppy trying to nurse but she would walk away from it whining at me. I felt her and could tell she still had a pup and so I made a emergency vet run. Rose was having some seriouse problems birthing the final pup. We were really trying not to put her under just because of her history but it came to the point that either she went or the puppy would go. And so he put her under and we got the final puppy out. A little female she actually was ok after some suctioning and work. I had brought the other dead pups for our vet to check out and see if there was a medical reason she refused them and the already born puppy. He said the pups seemed fine nothing felt inlarged or broken and the two live pups were fine. The only thing is Rose is an easily frightened and stressed dog and was also a first time mom who probley did'nt quite understand what was going on. When she came out of it we laid her two pups by her but she completely ignored them and whined for help and when they would try to nurse she would nip at them. Our vet thought maybe she was in pain in the area but after testing that theory it turned out that wasent the problem. So Rose simply refused her pups this morning so in other words more work then I was expecting. Her two living pups are a male and female and are pretty cute. We have all the stuff to deal with orphaned puppies, kittens, horses, birds, and other animals so its nice not to be new to this. I am not getting my hopes up theres always the chance the pups won't survive not lack or our trying sometimes you just lose em. Right now the whole family's working around the puppies feeding schedule but the pups are cute so its not so bad  . Well just thought i would update. Its trues as soon as a few animals get adopted out more come in and fill the empty place in your heart.

OH yeah I have decided i am keeping Elijah as my own

Well Rose is a Wire Fox Terrier but she is small for the breed as if she was probley the runt of her litter. Now the father on the other hand was a Yorky Terrier/Jack Russel Terrier. Her puppies are extremly small and I was afraid yesterday when i found the two dead ones feeling she may have had them alittle too early but my vet said that their perfectly healthy which is a good thing. Im very very tired right now :y_the_best: from the feeding schedule but thats ok its worth it they are very cute.

I just realized that we got a Christmas Foal and New years Puppies lol
