My loved cat for ten years ran away about a month ago. I'm heartbroken I'll never see him again. Any stories of cats coming back after that long?

 

I'm really sorry to hear that you lost your cat.
You never know, maybe he will turn up one of these days.

 

I'm very sorry about your cat. My good friend had one of her cats missing for 2 months. When she came home, she was skin and bones but recovered well. I will say a prayer for your cat's safe return.

 

have you put flyers up around where you live? An ad in the paper? Also speak to kids in the neighborhood and mail carriers.

i have a friend whose cat came back after about a year!!! just wandered up to him when he was sitting on the porch!!! like nothing had happened.

there are some situations where an animal will travel many miles to find a family that has moved...or the animal got lost and the family moved in the meantime, then the cat/dog found them again!!!

so...you never know... [-o<

 

Oh how sad!

When I was a kid I had a cat named Pogo, he was adopted from my one of my mom's friends and he ran away and i never did see him again. I also had a cat when I was 16 who ran away and never came back.

I hope you are a luckier person than I am, I would be heartbroken too if Stewart ever ran away!

I'm sorry, i heard about a cat that got shut in a drawer when a family was moving and 6 days later they found the cat and he recovered just fine.
