I went through years of allergies with my Doberman. I took medications for it.
Whatever I could get over the counter and whatever my doctor would give me.
Itchy skin mild hives, sneezing, coughing, headaches intestinal troubles, the whole nine yards.
I felt my dog was more important that anything else if the medications would keep the reactions down to a minimum.
I ended up keeping him his whole 17/18 years of life, and I eventually stopped reacting to him.
