Sadie is the unfortunate product of a BYBer...before I knew of such things - and she's why I'm so DARNED AGAINST BYBers. What this poor dog has had to deal with genetically is just so unfair to any living creature.

Her parents were black/tans and we met them. Sadie's grandmother was white so she's a throw back. Wasn't all that long ago if 2 black/tan GSDs threw a white, or black, puppy it would have been culled from the litter.

 

Excuse my ignorance but what is BYBer? Do we have them in the UK?

she's doing pretty well...she's camera shy so I have a hard time getting photos of her - but I'll work on it.

We took her on an outing with us yesterday. We went land hunting north of Franconia Notch and Sadie spent the day with us doing her favorite thing in the world - protecting us from evil trucks :0010: she was hit by a truck when she was younger so she hates them. Anyway she walked some land with us and had a pretty good time...it was nice to be able to get her out with us again although we don't push it - but we try to make her happy and keep her from getting depressed.

 

Hi Mary Sadie is a very pretty dog i'm glad to hear she was out and about i hope she is still feeling better.

 

Mary, you are such a good furmommy to Sadie and the meowmies. I'm glad to hear Sadie had fun at the outing and that she's doing well! :kiss_puppy:
