Safe plants for birds?

    What kind of plants are safe for cockatiels and budgies? Thanks :wink:

    how do you no if your bird has mites?

    Which type of mites are you referring to. Scaly mites usually occur around the cere and makes the beack and cere very crusty and upon close inspection you will notice little holes from the mites burrowing.

    Feather mites look like little pencil marks on the feathers.

    I dont know if this is mites but there is crusty stuff around my birds cere that comes off.

    here is a link about the different mites birds can get this should give you an idea what to look for.
    If in doubt always take to an avian vet to get them checked out.

    Thanks. Im pretty sure my bird doesnt have mites. She acts normal and there are no burrows on her beak.
