All right everybody. No one walks this path alone. bullylove 1- I'm with you. If sams can get this girl to sanctuary, I will send whatever $ I can to help out as well.

Anyone else? If your not sure, look at that darling girls eyes and ask yourself if you can forget her. I am crying again darn it! I had no idea I was this big a baby! :?

That is a great Idea but you really should wait until all applications have been filled out and all guidelines have been met. :D
Adopting or fostering out of state sometimes will not even be considered by the Rescue who has guardianship of the animal. Home inspections have to be done. Vet references checked and lots and lots of paperwork.

Also with APBT the standards are different then with other breeds so when it comes to adopting one there are a lot of requirements you don't normally come across when adopting or fostering other breeds.
IM sure Sam is aware of that already.

Oh yea. I knew we would have to "wait n' see". Just thought it might be good to let Sam know that if she could pull it off. We would try and help in the only way we could. Thanks to you too Gina H for bringin her to our attention and putting her on our minds and hearts.

This is DEFINATELY a Wait and See....

Untill she's temp tested, and clear of all diseases, and they feel like she can with stand the trip, I don't want to give anyone's hopes up!
    But keep your fingers crossed.

Just by looking at the pictures, I'd say there's still a lot of healing time left for this poor girl. Burns are one of the most serious of injuries for an animal or person. Risks of infection. Mentally she will probably need a lot of healing, also.

With love and all the right care I'm sure little Phoenix will rise from the ashes to live the happy life she deserves.

Gina, be sure to keep us all updated.

Georgeanne the lady who operates midwest rescue called me tonight and she said that Phoenix is completely safe from being euthanized she is in a loving foster home but is still up for adoption. She of course does have extensive medical bills and donations are needed if anyone would like to help her.
This is the address to send donations to.

Thanks Gina H for the update and the address! I thought about that little girl all weekend long. I feel so much better knowing that she is in a loving environment and in no danger of being put down. Thanks for letting us know!

Well I've emailed her a couple of times this weekend. I haven't heard anything yet.....

I ran this by Granvel. He thinks its going to be a lot of work. But If its what i want to do, then he'll help me.

I'm hoping someone adopts her before we make the decision to bring her all the way down here!!! THat poor girl needs a quiet forever loving home!

Sam if you are wanting to adopt Phoenix you can call Georgeann.
She's a very friendly sweet lady and would be so happy to find a forever home for Phoenix. If you want her home phone number I wil give it to you. I told her about you the other night when I spoke with her and she was very excited.
