Hi I am looking for a cockatiel and I found an albino. It has no patches or anything. Is there any way to tell it's gender besides DNA testing? And are albino cockatiles rare?

Hi there is no way to visually sex an albino cockatiel the only way to tell the sex is dna testing.
An avian vet can check the width of the pelvic bone to try and determine the sex but this is not always accurate and an avian vet always states they can make the mistake of sexing the bird wrong.

Also by doing this method there is a risk of injury to the bird.
Albino cockatiels are not rare there is alot of them about.

It is rare however to have a full clutch of albino chicks.
