Should I stretch everything out to the bottom?

    Hello everyone...
My cage is 18"L 14"W 36"H and right now I am bassically only using the top half of the cage... Because I know that birds like to be up at head level so all the food and perches I have positioned near the top... But I feel as it is a waste of the space... Should I lower the food dishes and make sure that the pooop cant go in so that she flys down lower to get the food? I dont want it on too steep of an angle because I know birds fly side to side and not up and down... Any input would be appriciated thankyou

You do not have to worry about your bird flying down to her food and water dishes asthey will climb down the bars of the cage.

I have my perches set at different heights and the food dishes low but away from perches so they do not poop in it.

Placing perches so they can hop from perch to perch is a good idea too.
