Has anyone seen this show? I watched 2 episodes last night. They were very entertaining to say the least. Ok for those of you who haven't seen it, it is about a few people who show dogs and all of them are at different levels.
There is one couple who are 55 &65, the man judges dog shows and the woman shows their whippets. The people were a little weird (showing everyone how to release their dogs anal glands) Telling everyone how bad it stinks.
Then there was another older lady who had 3 (maybe 4)german shephards and another dog that she showed, this lady was an idiot. She drove to Fla to pick up a handler then drove to Ill, her husband gave her directions with a direct route, a few hours into it, she and her handler decide not to take the direct route, but rather drive from fla to TX to Ill, bc the direct route hit all the big cities. In 19 hours they drove 300 miles, I don't know if they ever made it to the show.
Then there was a lady with her son and they had australian shephards (the ones with no tails) She fed RAW. But she(well her dog) did a photo shoot with some girl (a Playboy bunny) where she used cream cheese (she didn't bring any treats) and smeared it on the girls skirt and butt, so it looked like the dog was pulling on her skirt (it looked really gross and disgusting, more like the dog was licking her butt crack) But they ot paid $50.
So the next lady has a weimerreiner and got paid $500 to do a birthday party with her dog, no impressive tricks or anything (that I saw)
The next couple drove me crazy and they are definitely the ones who gave the show drama. They got in a huge fight while driving and the one while holding one of the chi's, threw the dog down and jumped out of the car, the police were called. These guys know nothing about dogs or showing at all, they were annoying to watch. They didn't know to bring a crate to put the 2nd dog in while showing, they never picked up their dogs poo. Their dogs attacked anyone who came near. And their one dogs teste were still inside and the needed to work them out andthrew a fit over it, I am thinking to it to the vet if you can't do it.
Arrgh those people were annoying. So did anyone else see it?

I didn't see it. I had heard about it, though, and I was afraid they would make it stupid as you described. No sense showing real stuff with "normal" people - have to make it stupid so dog people get a bad name.

I was afraid they were going to show the really rabid show people - you know, the kind that would poison someone else's dog so theirs would win - but this almost seems worse.

Haven't seen it but some parts that you described sound king of humiliating for the owners and the dogs. Definatlyy sounds like an interesting watch.

Here in Canada we have a show kind of like that (ony CKC based) but I can't remember the name. It has its moments too although for the most part it pretty sane.

I really don't know why people making idiots of themselves is so entertaining. All the stupid "reality shows" really turn me off. I watch TV and movies to be entertained with artistic photography or good writing or intelligent humor, etc. People acting stupid is something I can see by just walking out of the house. I don't need a TV for that. :)

Oh I forgot to mention one more thing that happened on the show. so the lady with the australian shephard teaches obdience classes and while she was at the park, some random dog (not it her class) attacked this man walking past the dog, the dog was maybe 15-20 lbs short hair don't know what type it was. But the man pulled up his pants (the dog bit his inner thigh area) and it had broken the skin,it wasn't bleeding, but still the lady needs to control her dog! So anyway the crazy part is the lady (who has an accent) starts telling the cameraman "I tell people get away from my dog he bites, but they don't, the dog doesn't like people, my dog bite my vagina 2 times, (which was repeated like 100000 times) he bite my labrador penis always.." I couldn't believe someone would admit something like that!

PSI am glad to see you back Jamaya!
