Sick bird

    Please help, Shiki our 10 moth old parakeet is acting strangely. He has stopped talking,constantly eats or sleeps. We also find him at the bottom of the cage either eating or sleeping. Ive noticed a thin brown rim around his seer. I m currently looking for a avaiy vet but would like some immediate feed back

    Hi, When you say he sits and sleeps on the cage floor does he fluff up his feathers and look miserable if this is the case he will need to see a vet immediatly to figure out the cause...

    A cere with a brown rim is a female what colour is the birds cere originally do you have a picture i will be able to tell you more with a picture also do you have a picture of him sat on the cage floor.
