Sierra gave birth to 12 healthy puppies!!!!

I just wanted to share my good news with everyone! My labrador Retriever, gave birth last night to 12 beautiful healthy puppies. Sierra (yellow lab) and Piper (chocolate lab) together had, 6 black pups and 6 chocolate pups. We're crackin up over here because we had not one yellow! In her lines the only black dog was her grandpa. And on his side, he had 4 that were black. But anyways, they're beautiful and doing very well! Thank god no complications. Her and her pups are going to the vet tomorrow morning. She has had 4 litters so far in her life time, 1st one she had 9, 2nd 10, 3rd 11, and now 4th 12. Every litter has been very healthy and beautiful! I"m so proud of her. Now we got a lot of work to do, both of us I"m off to make her some dinner

see people like elizavixen make people like me never wanna chat in this forum, as a responisble breeder I am aware of my breeder dogs and their health and needs. I take they're health very seriously and i don't need people to question skills as a professional breeder and dog owner. There are always people out there who think they know more and think everyone is wrong.

 

congrats , intesting aoub the colors, I think its was Delauk or SHine who gave a good lesson on the genetics of lab colors.

thanks everyone! The puppies are still doing good and so is mamma! Yes i do have new owners lined up, more than half...so i'm happy about that. Well I'm off to the vet appointment.
