Ya know, somethin i never considered was how Raz really looks... due to his condition...

a friend was over today for a spell, and she hadnt met Raz yet. She petted him and everything like a normal kitty (she's not a big cat person) and i pointed out to her, did u know he has no eyes?

She did a double take and couldnt believe it. So i showed her.. and she cringed and shivered and shook her head refusing to look again.

She wasnt the only one who did this... the guy who fixes my computer did the same thing.. called Raz a demon cat. :?

but ... i've never felt like this at all about him. even when i first got him/first saw him... i didnt cringe or anything.

i guess i really dont see what he's missing, just all that he does have huh?

What a great meowmy you are! We all think our kids are beautiful--no matter what. It's too bad that others can't get past his...I'm not sure what the right word is here...it doesn't sound like he's "handicapped" . You know what I mean though, right?

some people can't see the beauty beyond andy disfigurements....they focus on the part of the animal, or person for that matter, that doesn't quite fit the norm and that's all they can see. Small-minded people.

Raz is BEAUTIFUL and you are wonderful for loving him like you do

Raz is beautiful!! How dare anyone say different?! (lol) I think he looks cute with his squinting eyes :love_y_t_much: And I agree with Mary, beauty isn't always what you see, but how that special one makes you feel.

Raz is one of the cutest cats I've ever seen (pics wise) and he does not look blind at all. It's sad how some people are prejudiced against cats in general like my parents for example. If they judge cats that way, they probably judge people the same way. :(

Raz is always so cute in all the pictures I've seen...if I did'nt know he was missing his eyes I probably would'nt even have noticed.

Some people can be so narrow-minded. Nobody is perfect, whether person or animal. We all have our flaws and are beautiful in spite of them. Your Raz is precious kitty. :)

It's too bad that people feel that way about handicaps. It's a big crazy world out there and more tolerance and love is needed. You have given the biggest gift of all.......your heart...... and Razzy knows it, and he has given his heart to you. You are the lucky one! Those others don't know what they're missin'!!!

Awee :( I don't know why some people are like that. They just can't see the beauty in spite of the handicap. I bet if it was their cat they would though. Isn't that they way it always works? Razzy sounds precious.
