yeterday morning, my husbend stepped on the cat accidently. he doesnt know where he stepped exactly, maybe her tail or paw. cuz he had his shoes on and he wasnt looking. he heard her scream..then saw her running and hiding. so i went to her to see if everything is ok. then after 2 mins, she threw up. it was the first time i see her do this. i was really scared and worried about her. she threw up everything she ate "dry food". she walked a bit, and then few mins later..she threw up again..and then again and again. that morning, we had to go somewhere and we came home at night. but i told my mother to go check up on her, and my mother went and she said that she was fine, she didnt throw up anymore. today..she seems fine too. she is eating and drinking fine. i was just wondering did she throw up cuz she got scared and hurt? did this happened to any of ur cats before?
her name is Luna, and she is 8 month

My guess would be that she just got really scared/upset. Have you tried touching various parts of her body to see if she is extra sensitive anywhere?

yes, after going home, i picked her up and was petting her. she was fine. i touched her everywhere, to see maybe she was hurt, but thank God..everything is fine :D she is acting very normal and i am so glad.

thanks for replying so fast

she was probably scared into tossing her cookies.

It's door jambs that scare me. I once closed a cat's tail into the jamb...between the door/hinges and moulding. I didn't get the door closed all the way before she yelled - but now I always always look before closing a door. Another board I go into a poster cause her meezer's tail good in between the door and jamb - her kitty lost its tail!!! Stuff like that freaks me out.

I'm glad your cat is fine and didn't suffer any injury. My husband doesn't look before stepping either :x and with 3 cats you learn to look

deffinately just the stress. if he had stepped on her belly for instance she prolly would not have moved...

i'd like to point something out however,

in such accidents, in any pet accident where there is a possibility of injury (getting stepped on) or like in Raz's case when he was 6 weeks old and decided he was gonna 'bounce' down the long flight of steps to the main door *shudders* scared me to death--- that when u get to the animal, dont pick them up automatically.

Just like in human accidents, there could be something fractured or broken and is just awaiting a small movement to cause something horrible.

Always gently check over your animal, moving them as little as possible, testing for tender areas if none are readily apparent, and go from there. should u find something very wrong, broken bones, bleeding, ect, limit the animals movement immediately, by putting them in a small box, or corraling them in depending where they are, then call a vet.

describe the situation, in some cases, the vet may have to come over to not risk moving the animal yourself.

    better safe then sorry ;)

    glad Luna is ok
