A few minutes ago, I noticed Dale growling at her tail and her tail flicking like she was mad then she would bite her tail and growl. I reminded me sort of the video of that dog attacking its tail whenever it moved. I was pretty scared by it and I could tell it really bothered her. So I tried to get her to lay down and let me look at it, but she kept swatting and growling. Then she bit down (it looked pretty hard) and a spider jumped off her. It was fuzzy black with brown dots. Now she is just hanging out, trying to sleep. If I hadn't seen the way she was acting and the spider, I wouldn't think anything of her actions now, she seems totally normal.
Does anyone know anything about cats and spider bites? Or anything about that type spider, I immediately killed it when it jumped off her, and put it in a ziploc bag, just in case. Should I be scared/

I would keep a very very close eye on her... If she starts to look a bit off, lethargic, not eating, not drinking.. Then get her to a vets asap.. If shes ok now..She may be ok..Good thinking with bagging the spider..

Good thinking! First I thought she had the fleas, lol. Then the spider thing scared me. How's Dale doing now?
