Strange Eggs in tank today

I was cleaning out my tank today and found a batch of ten white eggs!
They are white with a clear jelly surrounding the outside of them.

The only egg layers that I have in my tank are 2 fire belly newts and 2 bronze cory cats. Which do you think laid the eggs?

If they are newt eggs, what should I do when they hatch? I have two male gouramis so I fear them being harmed or eaten. o_O If they are cory cats I raised my Platy fry, so that shouldn't be a problem.

    How big are they?

I believe cories deposit their eggs throughout the aquarium rather than in clusters, so it's probably not them.

they are very tiny. about the size of the dots on dice. They're too under devoloped for me to see what sort of creature is wiggling about in there. o_O

    Have any snails in there?

yes, but they are VERY small. Yes, yes I know it was bad, but I brought them in from a local river. I have no clue what type of snail they are, I think the eggs are a bit too large for them to have laid. But I could be wrong. =/

These are common pond snail eggs:

Sure sounds like snail eggs to me.

I'm not knocking the possiblity but the picture that you posted is nothing what they look like. They do have white jelly around them, but individually, they aren't in clusters, per se, just next to each other.

Ah! They might be cory eggs. Of course they very well could be newt eggs, but I know absolutely nothing about newts.

Yay for cories! I hope for cories or newts. If they are snails, is there anything special that I need to do for them?
