My pleco has a white patch of a fungus or something on its head. It is currantly in a 29 gal. and about 3" long. I have had it for about a year now and it has always been healthy. My levels are all perfect exept for my ammonia which once in awhile jumps to .1 or .2 other then that it is usually at 0. I have a few pictures but they are extremely blurry. Does anybody have an idea of what this might be?

Did he have a wound there before or is it on otherwise healthy skin?

It's probably columnaris. I'd try treating with Maracyn.
