Just took the dog outside for his business, came inside and looked down by the door and grabbed Buster because there was a big spider. Had the honey come to take care of it because I have a big fear of them.... It was a Black Widow!!!! Inside our house.....The slow moving cold spider and us hovering over it was getting the cats attention so I grabbed them put them in the bedroom while he killed it and removed the body...

Boy I hope that was the only one around I fear for my fur babies!! Especially Chopper being so small and curious.... Good thing I live minutes to my vets office which is also 24 hr emergency. I hope that they don't get bit by one, we also have brown recluses here I've killed a few in the past years.

    Gross and scary!!!!

Oh, that is scary. I don't think I've ever seen a black widow spider. I think we have brown recluse spiders around here, too, but I've never seen one in the house.

I've seen them before.. They are about the size of a quarter legs included, they are black and very shinny!! They have a red hour glass on their belly if turned over. They have a messy web very disorganized web. They like dark quite areas. Very poisonous these gals are.

Thankfully we have no poisonous spiders here, but I think the brown recluse is making it's way up to Canada too. I also have to get DH to remove them for me. I get shivers just thinking about them!
