So I am going to set up my 55 gal and I know it will need to be cycled and I have of course decided to do a fishless cycle...I have a question though, if I cannot get used filter media to help quicken the bacteria growth would gravel from a clean cycled tank produce any results?

I could be wrong, but im pretty sure ive heard of people using the gravel from etablished tanks. Dont settle on just my oppinion though.
