Thank you to all who answered my question and thanks for the welcome! I was thinking of feeding them 1 or 3 ways.
1.) Iams canned Kitten food with a little warm water.
2.) Use a blender and blend up science diet kitten food and add warm water to that
3.) Combine both methods together
The mom has been on science diet kitten food(unlimited supply) and iams canned kitten food (2X per day)
Any suggestions?

 

It takes a LONG time for dry kitten food to soften. I soaked it in warm water and then added warm KMR. He ate it out of a cap to a folger's jar with him and the cap sitting on a folded paper towel....{sigh} so long ago....now he's 19 pounds.

But I would add the KMR and other stuff Mary suggested. I was "winging" it back then before the internet and this wonderful site!

 

Royal Canin makes a dry food geared for kittens. It's smaller kibbles and softer than traditional dry food. It's called Baby Kats...I was given some when I had my last foster kittens and they ate it with no problem at all and they were only 4 weeks old
