Wow, that zoom groom is the greatest !!! I can't believe how much fur it took off when I brushed Smokey and Riley.I had to keep pulling the fur off the zoom groom in big wads. It's amazing, you don't even see all of the fur on them as being loose fur, but it really comes off in big tufts. Thanks again for the info, much appreciated!!  [/img]

I love Zoom Grooms....have one for my cats and one for my dog. They really get that fur off

It's so simple, but works so well! You wouldn't know it just looking at one in the store. It just doesn't look like it would do much, but so far it's the best brush I have used.

Agreed. I got one from Vene in our first cat swap, and I can't understand how i ever managed without it... I have to use a regular com as well though, because the zoom groom doesn't prevent mats in Kyrres fur.

Bente, I'm glad you are still using the Zoom Groom. Because of Pumpkin's matting, we had to get something else. I was either going to buy a shaver but ended with the Furminator. Like Sunset said, it feels like it cuts. Works great on her. We still use the Zoom Groom on Milo. He prefers a gentler groomer. If I'm in a hurry, the Furminator works faster.

I start out by using a fur "rake" to lift and loosen up their fur, and then go over with the zoom groom to pick up all loose fur. I think it has really helped cut down on amount of fur "floating" around the house.
