Momma went into labor this morning, at 6:40 she had her first kitten, and at 11:00 she had #8. I cant believe she had 8, wow!

Momma and babies are good, Momma is so tired, she is sleeping right now.
Ill get pics as soon as I can get a decent one, its hard taking good pictures with no flash.

Congrats to new mama cat!

I hope they're all doing well and that the new mother is getting some rest. She needs it after delivering 8 kittens! Wow.

Oh congrats, Glad mom and babies are doing so well.

Just goes to show even though you may only feel a couple of babies in the uterus does not actually mean there is only going to be a couple lol..

Can't wait to see the pics :D :D

Momma and babies are doing good, I gotta by a scale today so I can start getting weights on them. Any ideas on what I can use so I can tell the babies apart? Yarn or string of some kind?

The babies are so cute. The first born and biggest is almost silver looking with lots of spots. Some have the fathers deep red coloring with spots and stripes, and the others look just like the typical Bengals you see. They are adorable.

I cant get pics cause I cant use a flash. She had the babies in my small cat carrier and its too dark. I wish there was a way I could get a pic so I could show you guys.

The father (Romeo) is going in today to get neutered, but since Momma is using my carrier i dont know how I will transport him to the hospital. I also heard Bengals could have reactions to the anesthesia(sp)? anyone hear this before?

Once I can get pics I will post them.
Oh and there were 7 not 8, I must have counted someones butt thinking it was a head...lol.

I use different coloured ribbons or id bands, if your any good at making something like this

    http://www.chezcomics.com/chez-chic/coo ... -bands.htm

    then thats another idea.

I would love to own a kitten but i do not think my birds would be too happy with one living here haha

Glad to hear everything is going well..
