and you all thought it was solved. ah yes well things dont always go so well in the land of pet food delivery. the guy who was delivering the royal canin is a complete knob who doesnt understand that when i am ordering food, id actually like it to be delivered sometime in the near future. last order he never even bothered to show up. we had to keep hounding him every 2 seconds to deliver the food. the poor cats went a day or 2 without food. when he finally delivered it he gave us a storage tub. well we all thought that was fine and dandy until we discovered he didnt give it to us as a friendly gesture. the food looked, felt and smelt completely different to what he delivered before! i suspect he put it in the tub because he didnt have any of the sensible 33 left, or had old stock perhaps.

so now, its time to order again. the cats are running out of food. so i said to myself 'screw this guy, im not giving him a cent to sit on his fat bum watching footy'. so i went down to pets paradise [i vowed never to buy anything from this place. its just pure evil. they dont give a stuff about animal welfare. just happens to be they are the only distributors of natura] and bought an overpriced bag of innova. $45 AUD for a 3 kg bag to be exact. this food better be as good as everyone says it is because a. i feel guilty for supporting this stupid pet shop b. its ridiculously expensive and im broke c. i have to deal with 15 yr old sales assistants who pretend to know more about my pets than i do.

can i ever win? no. by the way pepe turns 1 on saturday. hes getting a birthday party. i stocked up on salmon, tuna and mackerel for a yummy cake for him and pheobe to share. hes also getting one of those toy on a spring things and a bottle of spray on conditioner. yes hes still having BIG problems with matting :(

Kyles, I'm sorry you are having such a hard time getting your cats decent food and service. Are there other sources of delivery available to you. Probably not, because I know you are very resourceful. Poor Pepe and Phoebe.
I was dissappointed that Pepe was not in the last photo contest. Will you enter Pepe and Phoebe in the next one?

I'm sorry that its such a hassel for you to get food for your cats.
Innova is my favorite brand....I think you will be happy with it or at least I hope you will for the price of it.

I think you'll be happy with the Innova - mine adore it, there's less mess (and virtually no smell) in the litter box, and they'll eat less,so it'll last longer. Heck, with the ingredients, you can eat it, too. ;) Now that I say that, I gotta tell you that mine went absolutely BEZERK over Royal Canin. It was even the slimming formula, and you know how the kitties feel about diet anything! I did find (in Canada) that the Royal Canin is completely out of my budget, however.

Hi Kyles. I wish I could send you quality food for the next 20 years! :( Hang in there. I suppose you could always purchase some 'backup' store brand food, that way if they are out of food, at least they could eat something, unless you want to cook them their own gourmet meals?

if i was rich id seriously consider opening my own shop and shipping all these US brands over!!! id also get some decent cat toys.

pheobe has actually been eating kumas food lately. god knows why. i was shocked the day i saw her picking up the bits of mince kuma flicks out. now she full on digs in. kumas been off her food a bit so maybe pheobes plan is to make her jealous so she eats it all up before the cats do! but if she genuinely likes it then maybe i should make extra and roll it up? to puree or not to puree is the question though...
