What do you think is a reasonable price for budgies that are about 10 months out and are a variety of blue (not your standard sky or cobalt blue)?

I got Kiwi at the flea market for $10 and my new 2 were regularly around $20-25 at the pet store but I got them for $12 each. I've seen english budgies for around $50.

Hi here in the UK budgies can sell for between £6- £15 a pair thats from a petshop..

From a breeder it can be anywhere from £20 a pair so yeah i would say 13dollars would be ok but check around the petstores see how much they are selling for and this gives you and idea..

The pet stores usually sell them at around the price range of about 15 -25 dollars for each budgie.

Yeah in Vancouver Canada, budgies go for $10 for standard budgies and $20 for "Fancy" budgies being your yellow ones or white ones etc. If your selling your personal pets I wouldnt worry so much about the price as the quality of the home.. though if your breeding or whatever consider that your birds should be worth more then the petstores... I havnt heard of any breeders around my house even though I know they must admit.. does anyone know any budgie breeders in Vancouver??

    at nova scotia prices are

In nova scotia canada, normal budgies (non Fancy-the common yellow and green) are 20$ and fancy (any other color such as blue) are 35$. Trained budgies (budgie graduates are 60$ I THINK. I can't really remeber but I know they are kinda expensive, which is good because you get responsable people buying them.

Around here the "university budgies" are around $50-$60. I think its pretty much a rip off because all they're trained to do is pretty much step up.
