The proverbial Bull in the China Shop...or

Try "A Freckles in the Tomato Patch". Both wreak havoc. This morning before I left for work I was in the yard with the boys and when I passed my tomato patch I saw an undamaged green tomato on the ground. I couldn't figure out why it had dropped.
Just as I reached the back door to go back in I looked over my shoulder to see Freckles standing in the tomatoes frantically searching for his tennis ball. Tail wagging, tomatoes flying.
I never did close that gap under the deck bench where he gets in so it really is my fault that his ball rolled into the tomatoes. I was fortunate that when he came back out he had the tennis ball rather that one of the tomatoes.

..poor freckles, he probably thought he was doing a great service ridding your tomato patch of the ball and "emptying" your plants. Hey, you can always use them for fried green tomatoes! yum!
