The puppies are coming!!

    Yay...Cole, my black lab has had one little male puppy so far...is he ever a doll....we are waiting for more so I will keep ya updated.

    Okay it is done with finally....she first had a boy black...then a yellow male....the third was a black male..but was born dead...how sad....but then 2 more black males were born....she is a happy mama and all babies are noisy and cute as ever.

    Congratulations. Four boys, amazing. Please post photo's. I did not get to enjoy puppyhood with Duke as I received him when he was seven months old and already weighed sixty pounds. I believe you are in for a wild ride for the next two months.

    Well congrats. Sorry for the loss of one. That happens sometimes though.

    Definately get her and the pups to the vet today. make sure she's had ALL of them, and there are no dead fetus's or placentas still inside. That will cause a deadly infection.

    Good luck and you're in for a wild ride with the little ones!!!

    I really don't think it matters with Labs. You can't breed for a specific color. No matter the color of the parents each litter could contain all three colors. I think that's why they do not have separate categories for different color Labs in dog shows like they do for Cocker Spaniels, for example.
