the sisters go home tomorrow

they are going from New Hampshire to Minnesota via Meezer Express. They are being relayed from state to state until they get to their new home. Everyone is excited - this is one of the longest transports Siamese Rescue has done.

I'll miss them but I know they are going to a wonderful home. These girls are going to home #4!!! This will be their final stop. The people adopting them are dedicated and serious about their cats. I'm so happy for these 2

meezer express is the transport system set up by siamese rescue made up of entirely volunteers to get the cats home. everyone takes a leg to get the cats closer to home. It's quite amazing actually

 

Don't mean to sound dense, but does Meezer refer to a Siamese cat?

the girls are now in Albany, NY to spend the night. First thing Sunday morning they continue westward toward Minnesota

 

what a wonderful thing i didnt know siamese were being rescued like this ive never heard of it you should call a reporter in a local paper to see if they wouild do an intrest story in it or even write a letter tot he editor because anytime someone can work to save an animal the better it is. here all they do is rescue grey hounds & beagles. beagles here are used for hunting & when theyre past theyre hunting days a lot of cruel ppl just let them go in the woods to fend for themselves so they set up an adoption & rescue shelter
