    a sing-along :0008:

it hit about 20 below last night with the wind chill....so you can imagine it was a 3-cat night

Zeus under the covers snuggled right up against his meowmy - purring away (he's a bed hog too)
Missy snuggled right up against my bed and Tilly was behind my knees.

So 3-cat and socks-on-the feet night. As much as I dislike the cold it's sweet having the kitties that close

...but the fire is so delightful. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! :0008: LOL!

Sounds cosy with all the cats in bed! It's cold here too, we went from 2 below to 15 below in one night :? But Kyrre hasn't been outside this much since the summer! He seems to enjoy the cold weather... What a weirdo

Yeah, we got below zero here the night before last with windchill. And a good steady teen-twentys F last night. I had the fireplace going. It was nice :)

It was really cold here, too. In the single digits. Today it is supposed to go up into the 40's. A heat wave. My kitties hate the cold weather. Since they can go outside, Mittens will go out for about 30 seconds and want back in and Socks basically doesn't want to go out at all. Brrr. :)

We got to -43C yesterday with the windchill, -25C without. I usually walk to work (3km), but I decided to get my brother to pick me up instead. Brrrr. Moe wants outside all the time too. I think it's to get away from the little brat. She doesn't last long on the concrete steps!

Halaroo: minus FOURTYTHREE DEGREES???
Where on this planet is Ottawa located? Close to Santa on the North Pole?

 We're the capital city of Canada, and nowhere near the north pole! Actually we're only an hours drive from New York state. Today is much milder - only -18C with a windchill of -30C. It's not nearly as bad as it sounds, we Canadians are hearty people!

    Here I am:

Anyone have an online calculater converter (c to f and vice-versa) that works with sub-zero temps?

I figured it had to be in Canada somewhere... But I had no idea it was that far south! Or that it could get that cold around New York...
Geography has never been my 'thing'...
You are closer to Africa then you are to the North Pole, but you still have -43 celcius??? #-o Lol, just kidding! But it is colder than it is here in Norway. Or at least in "my" part of Norway (the middle). It's colder further up north, I guess we can thank the Golf Stream that it's not worse than it is.

Here in Tennessee, the weather has been crazy! below zero just two days ago and today, almost 60. And by Sat, teens again. Sheesh, I feel like I'm on a rollercoaster!

The weather here in the UK is just miserable at the moment!! But I can relate to the cats on the bed. The temperature dropped below freezing earlier in the week and I woke up to find Pudcat snuggled between my shoulder blades and Fudgie right next to him snuggled against my spine. It must have been cold in the night because Fudgie normally stays at the bottom of the bed near my feet :D It's just as well I didn't roll over

Merry Christmas to the Staff of our Beloved Fur Babies!!!

I can totally relate to you Harloo!!! I'm in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and WOW it was cold here the last few days! We too have had -43C with the wind chill. Your skin freezes instantly! Plus the pipes in the house are prone to freezing.........it's wicked!!! Ruby and I snuggle in for the winter.....and I only going to work and the grocery store and maybe for a beer here and there during the winter months. I tell ya, Spring is the BEST time of year!!!

Take care & stay groovy everyone! I'm off work for a week (Yea!!) and I don't know when I can sneak back here to use the computer......

    HAPPY NEW YEAR TOO!!!!
