I've been thinking of doing something fun with Kabuki. With her love of running, and playing, her goofyness and ability to leap, roll, crawl and squiggle, I think she would be great at agility.

Jamiya. Do you have any suggestions? I'm looking for a group down here in Victoria. The only thing I turn up is the Victoria Dog Agility Association. Have you heard of them? What do i need to research? How do I get in... ect...

I just kind of lucked out by having a friend tell me where he was taking classes and the trainer turned out to be a nationally known trainer. :)

I would call the club you found and ask about classes. Just make sure that whatever class you are in keeps everything upbeat and positive. It should be fun for the dogs! Since you are just going to mess around and probably aren't wanting to put in the time, work and money to be a national champion, I wouldn't worry a whole lot about specific techniques and stuff.

This web site has some good info on it: http://cleanrun.com/. I think there is a place on the site where you can search for agility organizations and schools.

Well, her herding just isn't panning out. So I figured I'd give it a try and if she's good at it. We'll go all the way. If not, then we know thats one thing she doesn't like! She's a wonderful therapy dog. But I want to title her in SOMETHING. She needs to prove herself. OBediance is cool, but doesn't prove anything other than she knows obediance. as a working dog. I want her to do something physical. She's a wonderful guard dog. Might try tracking. But Boels usually aren't that good at it.
