They're such great pics! And a great testimony as to how they become such beloved family members as well!

Wonderful pics, Bente. I also wanted to add that your English is very good. What other languages do you speak?

    Thanks everybody, it's overwhelming

Thank you Chess. But I have to admit that I use my my computer dictionary veeery often
Other than Norwegian and English? None. I learned French for three years (97-00) but I wasn't very good at it. Actually I don't remember anything

    About the language thing...

Was English hard for you to learn, Bente?

I'd like to learn Norweigan! I'm very into the languages. I'm fluent in French and very good at German. I'll learn Norweigan next and talk to you in it!

I started learning English in school when i was about eight years old. Kids that age learn so fast, so i never had any problems...
It got worse when i had to learn French at the age of 13 :?

    Can you figure this out?
Jeg heter Bente. Jeg bor i Norge.

    oh ooh

My name is Bente, I am from Norway.

It's kind of like german to me for some reason... in german that would be:

Ich heisse Miranda. Ich komme aus Amerika. (i think i spelled that right)

    heisse heter?

    Correct! :y_the_best:

Directly translated it would be "I live in Norway", but it's the same difference
Norwegian and German have many similiar (?) words, but i have heard some bad roumers about the German grammar...
